Alec was never too far from his sister when they were both in the same vicinity, so when Jane pushed the older vampire of the two out of the way he was in close distance in case either vampire decided they were going to do something stupid. He made his way around Cariven so that she was sandwiched between him and his sister, though not really necessary since she wouldn’t have been going any where far anyway. Alec didn’t really desire any sort of demonstration from the girl, that wasn’t his area so he didn’t really care. His lips curved upwards in to a slight smirk and a low, short snicker passed through him when Caius’ name was mentioned. Alec shared his sisters liking to deal with Caius when it came to powers, Aro collected trophies in a sense and didn’t some times think about the long run. Though that was only one flaw, and Alec still favoured Aro above them all.
The fact that Cynthia didn’t look to pleased when Cariven started talking amused him slightly. He wondered if there might be something that the two of them were hiding. Be that if it may, it wouldn’t stay hidden for long if that were to be the case. Hearing another snarl, this time from Cynthia he kept himself composed though he gave her a rather intense glare, a warning one if you will. Alec wouldn’t take another one from either of them too lightly if it were to happen again.
He watched the movements of his sister with the new born while he made sure there would be no move to leave from her spot. Another softer snicker could be heard from him when his sister spoke about the pain that she could cause. Never experiencing it before, he’d only seen the affects of it on others. Alec was the more reserved of the twins, allowing his sister to instil most of the fear in their victims, of course he wasn’t one to be taken lightly. Right now Jane would easily convey their point across to the two visiting vampires. Alec at the moment was just enjoying himself as the two reacted to his sister, of course watching to make sure there would be no acting out.
He was growing a bit more restless, impatience even with the two of them. The fact that the two of them were, for the most part behaving rather well at this time showed they were doing better then a few others they came into contact with. Of course with a lack of drama he was growing only slightly bored.
((I am so very sorry that is a bad post, next one will be better, promise))

As Cynthia's eyes had connected with Cariven's eyes knew that she had go the general message. When Jane had spoke Cariven's name a chill rolled down her spine. When Jane had said that a demonstration for Cariven's powers was not necessary Cynthia relaxed. Good that makes things a little better Cynthia thought. Cynthia then gritted her teeth to stop from growling when she saw Jane walk up to Cariven and then pull out some of her hair, get her scent, and hand it back to some off the guards behind her. She knew that when she did that she was getting her scent and now she wouldn't ever forget it. She knew that she was trapped nothing she could say or do would help her be free, ever. She then watched further as Jane turned to where she was facing her. All Cynthia could really think right now was help. Jane asked her what her power was but her words were crisp and clear with obvious power behind them. Jane then also asked what her name was. In her mind she was screaming Cynthia Lévesque and I have the power to move anything with my mind now please don't hurt me, but Cynthia knew that she had to be more selective with her words.
Cynthia closed her eyes and then opened them back up to try to calm herself. Cynthia then looked at Alec out of the corner of her eye, he seemed to be watching her closely also. "My name is Cynthia and my power is to move any object, including people, with my mind." Cynthia tried to say as calmly as she could but you could her some terror behind it, but you couldn't blame her it was now all over no hope at all of escaping like she had hoped. Cynthia then stole a quick look behind her before she quickly turned her head back to look at the ground; there was a Volturi member behind her watching her like a hawk. Cynthia then looked at Cariven with an apologetic look in her eyes, she may not know what it meant ,but Cynthia was sorry for getting them into this mess and not being able to get them back out.
((Sorry i had to go so i made it quick))

Cariven glanced over at Alec. He had not moved much from where he had been moments ago when Jane had took her scent. She suddenly remembered she had not learned what their powers were. Obviously they were powerful or else none of the vampires around her that had been changed as adults would bow down to her in such a way. It was more like they were adults stuck in a childs' bodies forever. The newborn knew that was what she would remain as, a child. She was changed at a older age compared to the twins, but she was still their height. Even when she was human she was small and pretty, becoming a vampire had made her small and beautiful. If she would have her powers, strength, hearing, and everything else that came with being a vampire she would deal with everything however hard it became.
Cynthia's frightened face warned her. Cariven seemed better off right now. The Volturi had thought that she had insulted them and they were not as patient with her. The other guard that stood behind her was tall, towering over her. It made her look upward every few minutes to see what he was doing. Cynthia was questioned and she could tell in her mind she must be screaming, telling herself that they had a slim chance of surviving this and it was her fault for bringing Cariven into this mess. Cariven did not think that was. She was enjoying herself at times. She wanted to meet the Volturi, and learn from them, even if it was simply to never come near them again.
Cariven could hear the terror in Cynthia's lovely voice. She wanted her to stop doubting herself. They were going to make it out of here no matter what. The newborn was sure. If they didn't she would make it through that. She wanted to look on the bright side of life, eternity. She smiled at Cynthia, not the least bit afraid. Hopefully the guards would not think that was also insulting. Her pearly teeth sent little rainbows into the new dawn. The rising sun hit her icy skin, turning it to millions of diamonds. Everyone would have to get out of here soon or else. In the city the sun had not come up, but it was coming.
