Esme walked around the house. It was too quiet for her. No teenagers running around, no one was here at all. What was she to do with her time? The house was already impecably clean. It tended to be that way when no one was there to destroy it. It hadn't taken long to tidy up after everyone left for the morning leaving Esme to fend for herself.
Finally realizing that there was nothing to do, Esme sat down on the couch and turned the TV on. There wasn't really anything on at the moment. So, she settled on a soap opera. Human emotions were always fun to watch on television.
